KKUDSID Field Trip Begins with Exciting Day in Singapore

Singapore, August 15, 2024 — The inaugural KKUDSID Field Trip in Singapore kicked off with a day full of educational and cultural experiences for 20 students from grades 5 to 8.
The journey began early in the morning with a flight from Bangkok to Singapore. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed and immediately immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Singapore.
Their first stop was the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), where they enjoyed a campus tour and lunch. The students had the opportunity to learn about the Singaporean education system and the rich history of the university, gaining valuable insights into one of Asia’s leading institutions.
Following their visit to SUTD, the group checked into their hotel, which will serve as their base for the duration of the trip. The evening was dedicated to exploring Singapore’s renowned Chinatown. Here, students had a chance to sample dishes from Michelin-starred food stalls, enhancing their culinary experiences.
In addition to enjoying local cuisine, students practiced their English communication skills by engaging in shopping and filming a short video clip. The clip featured their impressions of the local food and was an exercise in both language use and creativity.
After a full day of activities, the students returned to their hotel to rest and recharge for another exciting day ahead.
The field trip is expected to provide valuable educational and cultural experiences, broadening the students’ horizons and deepening their understanding of Singaporean culture and education.
