KKUDSID Astronomy Camp 2024

On November 1-2, 2024, KKUDSID held the Astronomy Camp 2024 at Regional Observatory for the Public, Khon kaen and at Phu Phan Kham Meeting room, Ubolratana Dam.
The camp included a variety of activities such as
- exploring the full-dome digital planetarium,
- stargazing through 4-14 inches and 0.7 meters in diameter telescopes,
- observing stars using laser pointers, and using the SkyView app for naked-eye star spotting.
There were also recreational activities and a knowledge-sharing session to wrap up the event.
The two days and one night were blessed with clear skies, allowing students to enjoy bright stars, much to the satisfaction of both teachers and students who were dedicated to making this camp a success.
The Department of Science and Technology would like to thank all Thai and Foreigner teachers who helped organize the camp successfully, the tourist police officers who ensured safe travels, the supportive parents, and every student who participated with enthusiasm. See you again next year!
