Teacher Appreciation Day (Wai Khru Ceremony) at Khon Kaen University International Demonstration School for Academic Year 2025
On Thursday, June 26, 2025, KKUIDS held the 'Wai Khru Ceremony for Academic Year 2025' with Asst.Prof. Passara Intarakumhaeng, School Advisor, presiding over the ceremony.
The event was held at two locations: the Kindergarten Education Building and the Primary-Secondary Education Building, following the beautiful Thai traditions that honor this important day for paying respect and remembering the kindness of teachers.
Student representatives from each grade level presented ceremonial trays (phan) to the school administrators and teacher representatives. The ceremony also included the blessing of books, which is considered auspicious for the new academic year, as well as the presentation of certificates of appreciation to students in various fields.
Finally, all students listened to advice and blessings from the ceremony president, then dispersed to present flowers and garlands to their homeroom teachers, expressing the students' gratitude and respect for their teachers. This beautiful scene occurs annually and will continue as a cherished tradition.

พิธีไหว้ครูโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ฝ่ายนานาชาติ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568
วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2568 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ฝ่ายนานาชาติ ได้จัดกิจกรรม 'พิธีไหว้ครู ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568' โดยมี ผศ.ภัสสรา อินทรกำแหง ที่ปรึกษาโรงเรียน เป็นประธานในพิธี
กิจกรรมถูกจัดขึ้นใน 2 สถานที่ ที่อาคารระดับอนุบาลศึกษา และอาคารระดับประถม-มัธยมศึกษา โดยยึดถือตามขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย ที่ถือวันนี้เป็นวันสำคัญในการน้อมรำลึกถึงพระคุณของครูบาอาจารย์ โดยตัวแทนถือพานของแต่ละระดับชั้น ได้ขึ้นมอบพานไหว้ครูให้กับคณะผู้บริหาร และตัวแทนอาจารย์, นอกจากนั้น ในพิธียังมีการเจิมหนังสือ ซึ่งถือเป็นการเอาฤกษ์เอาชัยให้กับปีการศึกษาใหม่ รวมถึงการมอบเกียรติบัตรชื่มชมยินดีให้กับนักเรียนในด้านต่าง ๆ
สุดท้าย นักเรียนทุกคนรับฟังการให้โอวาทและคำอวยพรจากท่านประธานในพิธี และแยกย้ายกันนำดอกไม้ มาลัยกร ไปมอบให้แด่คุณครูประจำชั้น แสดงออกถึงความกตัญญูกตเวทีของนักเรียนที่มีต่อครูอาจารย์ ถือเป็นภาพแห่งความงดงามที่เกิดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี และจะเป็นเช่นนี้สืบต่อไป
