Uniting in Merit! KKUIDS Holds Sacred Asalha Puja and Buddhist Lent Ceremony
On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Khon Kaen University International Demonstration School (KKUIDS) brought together administrators, teachers, students, and parents for a heartwarming merit-making ceremony, alms offering, and candle presentation for Buddhist Lent. Presided over by Asst.Prof. Passara Intarakumhaeng, Advisor to the School, the event began with alms-giving to 5 monks around the school, fostering a shared sense of generosity. This was followed by a heartfelt candle and offerings ceremony and a chanting ceremony with food offerings to monks at the Primary & Secondary level. Following this, the revered monks proceeded to the Kindergarten Building to accept the Lenten candles, provide a Dhamma talk, and offer blessings.
The day was filled with reverence and shared purpose, allowing everyone to collectively embrace the spiritual significance of Asalha Puja and Buddhist Lent. Participants deeply appreciated the opportunity to engage in this meaningful tradition, strengthening community bonds and preserving cultural heritage. KKUIDS extends its sincere gratitude to all who contributed to this auspicious and unifying event.

ร่วมใจสร้างบุญ! KKUIDS จัดพิธีอาสาฬหบูชาและวันเข้าพรรษาเสริมสิริมงคล
วันพุธที่ 9 กรกฎาคม 2568 โรงเรียนสาธิตนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (KKUIDS) ได้จัดพิธีทำบุญตักบาตร ถวายเทียนพรรษา เจริญพระพุทธมนต์และถวายภัตตาหาร เนื่องในวันอาสาฬหบูชา วันเข้าพรรษา และทำบุญโรงเรียน โดยคณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ นักเรียน และผู้ปกครอง ได้ร่วมใจกันสร้างบุญในกิจกรรมอันเป็นมงคลนี้ โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ภัสสรา อินทรกำแหง ที่ปรึกษาโรงเรียนสาธิตนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธี
กิจกรรมเริ่มต้นด้วยพิธีทำบุญตักบาตรพระสงฆ์ 5 รูป บริเวณรอบอาคารเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา ตามด้วยพิธีถวายเทียนพรรษาและเครื่องไทยธรรม และพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์พร้อมถวายภัตตาหารแด่พระสงฆ์ ณ ห้องสมุดโรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษา จากนั้น พระสงฆ์เดินทางไปรับถวายเทียนพรรษา สังฆทานและเครื่องไทยธรรม, รวมทั้งแสดงธรรมเทศนา และให้ศีลให้พรแก่นักเรียนระดับชั้น Pre-school และอนุบาลศึกษา ณ อาคารอนุบาลศึกษา นานาชาติ
ซึ่งตลอดกิจกรรมเต็มไปด้วยความสงบและความตั้งใจร่วมกัน นักเรียนได้สัมผัสถึงบรรยากาศของบุญกุศลในประเพณีอันเป็นมงคลนี้ ตลอดจนช่วยเสริมสร้างความผูกพันในชุมชนและธำรงรักษามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของพระพุทธศาสนาและสังคมไทย
