STEAM Camp 2025 at KKUIDS is where curiosity meets creativity and responsibility. Each grade level embraced real-world challenges through hands-on projects that connected science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics under the theme of sustainability.
Our youngest learners in Grades 1–2 began with Waste and World, discovering different types of trash, classifying materials, and creating bar charts to understand how daily habits impact the environment. Students in Grades 3–5 explored Which Water Can We Drink?—testing, measuring, and comparing water sources before building their own filters and even coding a smart water reminder using Arduino.
Meanwhile, Grades 6–9 tackled Water Conservation. They raised awareness of the importance of local water resources and the risks of future water scarcity in Thailand. Using modern tools such as LabQuest3 with pH sensors, students measured and analyzed key parameters (pH, DO, BOD, turbidity, temperature), translated their findings into graphs, and designed innovative prototypes—such as water wheels—to explore how engineering can improve water quality.
Together, our students discovered, created, and took action—fostering awareness and innovation for a sustainable future.
